MISSION
The Bella Kind Foundation is dedicated to fostering kindness in our community by uplifting youth through educational programs, mentorship, counseling, and advocacy. We focus on empowering young people, particularly young women, to build confidence, embrace leadership, and give back to their communities. Through our initiatives, we aim to promote gender equity and ignite transformative change, creating a future where every young person has the power to shape their destiny and uplift others in the process.

the heart of bella kind
Bella’s family carries forward her vision of a kinder, more compassionate world. Their love and dedication inspire every aspect of the foundation’s work, from empowering young women to fostering community connections.
turning grief into action
Laura, Bella’s mother, felt a deep call to action from Bella’s memory when she saw the growing need for support in their hometown of Rahway, NJ. In the aftermath of COVID, many middle school girls were struggling, expressing their frustrations through social media and physical altercations. Determined to make a difference, Laura poured her heart into creating something meaningful. From January to March, she worked tirelessly to organize the first annual gala—a labor of love inspired by Bella’s kindness. The response was overwhelming, with over 400 community members coming together to show their support, proving that even in challenging times, kindness can unite and inspire change.

The Giacobbe family created Bella Kind as a heartfelt legacy to honor Anabella and the kindness, creativity, and love she brought to the world. Every workshop, outing, and activity we organize is inspired by her values and interests, embodying the spirit of compassion, curiosity, and generosity that she lived by. Through this foundation, we hope to inspire our youth to embrace these same values, fostering a culture of kindness that extends far beyond our community. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change, continuing Bella’s legacy of uplifting others and making the world a better place.
